I think this movie will be the best movie of 2009 and will be the best movie of all time! It will overtake the reigning box office movie of all time. I can't wait to see this amazing movie. I also like the movies Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow which happened to have similar director with 2012.
If I'm not mistaken, this movie based from the Mayan calendar which is ending in 2012, that a large group of people must deal with some natural destruction such as glaciers, volcanic eruptions, tidal wave and typhoons.

it isnt going to be that bad i think. all that is happening is our magnetic field is switching. so now the south pole will be the magnetic south pole as well and the same with the north.
according to somethin i read about this is, it has happened before and well since it has happened before and animals survived it i kinda think we can
only thing is that it takes up to 13 years for it to finish with the switch, so im thinking of this for it. no electicity, no cell phones will work, maybe phones that are attached to the phone line(get power from it), and maybe at the worst some stronger, bigger storms.

Well the magnetic field switching will happen one day again for sure, solar storms will come our way for sure, Sun swelling up one day will happen too one day for sure, New Ice age..., big asteroid... etc, etc
ARMAGEDDON!!! hehe well this is only a Hollywood doomsday movie^^ And I'm going to see and probably love it. But I'm not to worried I'm going to live and see this all hehe.
BTW CK Lake Michigan will overflow too of course....
